The Daikin Skyfi Ducted Controller
The Daikin SKYFi Ducted Controller puts your frequently used air conditioning functions at your fingertips. Download the SKYFi app and use your smartphone or tablet device to control your ducted air conditioning from anywhere, any time, via your Wi-Fi network or Internet.
Features include on/off control, fan speed control, mode control, temperature control, zone control, customer zone names, set temperature display, outside temperature display, easy set on timer, easy set off timer, configuration, and filter clean reminder. A Daikin Zone Controller is required for the Zone Control features. Once installed, the SKYFi app automatically detects zones and displays them allowing each zone to be named and individually controlled with a single tap.
To install SKYFi, ensure the BRP15A61 SKYFi Interface card is fitted to your air conditioner and that the SKYFi app has been downloaded. The SKYFi Interface can be fitted to all new Daikin air conditioners and existing models manufactured from 2003 onwards.
You can either connect directly, through the home Wi-Fi or through remote access. Connecting directly is best for when you don’t have a home Wi-Fi in which case the Daikin SKYFi will act as a Wi-Fi access point where a single smartphone or tablet device can be connected when in range within your home. For home or local Wi-Fi networks, simply join the network and enter the network credentials in the Wi-Fi control app. Once you are connected, your air conditioner can be controlled from any networked Android or iOS device. If this Wi-Fi network has a permanent connection, then your air conditioner can also be controlled remotely – from anywhere your smartphone or tablet device can be connected to the Internet. Using Remote Access, you can control your air conditioning from anywhere, making sure that it is ready for when you get home.
