Super Multi outdoor units feature Outdoor Unit quiet Operation and Night Quiet Mode. Pushing the QUIET button on the wireless remote controller decreases ouotdoor unit operation sound by 3dB from the rated operation sound.
Nightime operation sound for the outdoor unit is automatically decreased by 3dB from the rated outdoor sound. This function is available for cooling operation only.
Night Quiet Mode starts automatically when the outdoor temperature has dropped by 6°C from the maximum temperature recorded during the day.
