Breakdowns can be frustrating and we understand your needs are urgent and important. Our technicians will act professionally and with courtesy to you and/or your staff & customers at all times. Subject to your approval, many repairs are carried out immediately and the air conditioner is back up and running, reducing the frustration of waiting for the repairs to be completed. Should this not be the case, we will arrange a report for you as well as a written letter and quote to your insurance company if necessary. We are able to order new parts (if available, for most all leading brands) give you a quote for repair and parts, and arrange for a second appointment to have these parts installed so your air conditioner is up and running again as soon as possible.

Whilst our maintenance plans are designed to reduce breakdown events, when your air conditioner doesn’t seem to be working as well as usual, there are a few things you can check before deciding to call a technician. Listed below are a few of the most common issues we come across, some are easily fixed, some will need a licensed technician to repair:

The unit doesn’t turn on:

Has the circuit breaker been tripped?

Is the ‘power’ switch on?

Is the unit on ‘heating’ operation? If so, it may need a few minutes to warm-up.

Vermin may have chewed the wiring. In this case, call your technician

There may be an internal fault. In this case, call your technician

Doesn’t cool/heat effectively:

Is the air filter clogged/dirty?

Allow time for the room to cool if is it an exceptionally hot day

Is the temperature set correctly?

Indoor fan runs, but the air coming out is not cool (summer)  or warm (winter):

Check the thermostat Temperature

Standard Call-Out fee within the Brisbane Metro Area(Bowen Hills/CBD/East Brisbane/Fortitude Valley/Herston/Highgate Hill/Kangaroo Point/Kelvin Grove/New Farm/Newstead/Petrie Terrace/South Brisbane/Spring Hill/Teneriffe/West End/Woolloongabba. @ $125 incl. GST
Standard Call-Out fee Suburban Fringe (Ipswich/Logan/Strathpine etc) @ $145-$175 incl. GST
First half-hour is free, thereafter @ $65 incl. GST per hour fault-finding labour

Emergency Breakdown Service:
Business hours Emergency Call-Out fee within the Brisbane Metro Area $190 incl. GST (within the hours of 8am-4pm: Technician requested on-site within 3 hours, standard $65 incl. GST per hour after the first half-hour on-site fault-finding)
After-hours Emergency Call-Out fee within the Brisbane Metro Area $280 incl. GST within the Brisbane Metro Area (after- hours : 4pm-8am, $190 incl. GST per hour after the first half-hour on-site fault-finding)

Maintenance Plans:
We can maintain your airconditioning system on a regular basis as per a service agreement. Having a monthly/quarterly/ 6-monthly or annual service agreement ensures peace of mind that your system is maintained to the highest level and can greatly prevent any major problems arising.
